Chlorpyrifos 48% EC is a broad-spectrum, organophosphate non-systemic insecticide with contact, stomach, and respiratory action and a Cholinesterase inhibitor. It is an effective broad crop and pest range insecticide for soil and foliar. Chlorpyrifos 48% EC is mainly used for control of Coleoptera, Diptera, Homoptera and Lepidoptera on rice, cotton, fruit trees, glasshouse and outdoor ornamentals, tea trees, turf and all vegetables, except for cucurbits. It is also used for control of household pests, adult mosquitoes and larvae.

Use
Chlorpyrifos 48% EC is used as pre-harvest treatment of many crops, particularly rice, cotton, fruit trees, all vegetables, glasshouse and outdoor ornamentals, tea trees, turf.
Foliar pests:
- Flowers and ornamentals: Apply at first signs of pest attack.
- Cotton: Apply at first sign of disease and repeat as necessary. Ensure good wetting of the crops.
- Vegetables: Apply at first sign of pest attack. Do 2 treatments at 10-14 days interval. Ensure thorough wetting of the crop.
Soil pests:
- In vegetables, Drench the soil and pour 5lt of the solution into each termite nest.
