Description
Malathion 50 EC, formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate, is a non-systemic, broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide / acaricide, with contact action on the stomach and respiratory tract pests of stored crops: flies, household insects, ectoparasites, mites, aphids, ticks, fleas, bugs, leaf miners, worms. It is widely used in mosquito eradication programs in public health, such as mosquito eradication, in agriculture and horticulture to control insects on fruits and vegetables and on ornamental plants.

Uses
Malathion 50 EC liquid formulation Malathion may be applied to control several insect pests of small grains. It can be used for direct contact sprays against sucking insects or as residual sprays against chewing insects. Use on Citrus, Ornamentals plants, Vegetables, fruit trees, rice, strawberries, and Outdoor areas.
Instructions
Dilute Malathion CE 50 at a dose of 4 1/2 oz per gallon of water and applied by spraying to the soil, turf, or foliage. Reapply if necessary. Spray plants thoroughly on both sides of foliage. Repeat as necessary. It may be applied, with pump-up or compressed air sprayer or tank sprayer. Treat plants when insects are first seen and damage is noticed. Use only over intermittently flooded areas.
