Carrot (Chantenay Red Core, New Kuroda)

The Darbouco SA has selected two varieties of carrot seeds, easy to grow on loose soil and lightweight allowing a natural drainage. The absence of pebbles, gravel, or other barriers is needed to avoid forked carrots. You will find in-store carrots seeds Chantenay Red Core and those of new Kuroda.

•     The Chantenay Red Core is a variety of traditional carrot with excellent taste qualities, easy to grow and full of vitamins. This very old variety produces a big bulky root, half-long waist 12-18 cm, with a rounded shape at the end, slightly tapered with very red flesh. The central portion a bit less colored than the rest, is very juicy and sweet. Chantenay carrots are perfect !
  
  
•     Carrot New Kuroda is a variety with perfectly conical roots and short, reddish. kuroda is a famous carrot for its taste. It is cultivated in a ventilated, cool, worked well even clay soils may suit him. The compact soils are not recommended, the roots will tend to set ranges.
